I’m from that town (no longer living there), and holy smokes the facebook livestream was wild. His tone was very condescending to the indigenous speakers, and made it clear with his body language and deflections that he was annoyed with their questions. These people asked some very tough, challenging questions on topics that directly affect them, and he did not give them the respect to thoughtfully answer.
